Get A Sober Free Safe Ride Home

Providing redeemable ride-share codes to would-be impaired drivers for a safe ride home.

Plan Smart. Ride Free. Arrive Safe.

Project Plan Ahead was created by the Ohio Traffic Safety Office to give would-be impaired drivers a safe way home on high-risk holidays and events. Ultimately, the goal is to save lives and prevent traffic fatalities on Ohio roadways.

Rides are available if they originate in or have a destination in the following Ohio Counties: Franklin (Columbus), Cuyahoga (Cleveland), Hamilton (Cincinnati), Montgomery (Dayton), Lucas (Toledo), Summit (Akron), and Butler (Hamilton). Credits can only be redeemed between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. You cannot schedule a pickup in advance. Rides are available while supplies last.
